The study area is located in the northeastern part of the island, extending to the small peninsula of Elia Bay. Like the entirety of Meganisi, it represents a landscape of exceptional natural beauty with the distinctive characteristics of the Ionian Islands.
This Special Urban Plan (S.U.P.) study is conducted in accordance with the provisions of Article 8 of Law 4447/2016 and was pre-approved by decision no. ΥΠΕΝ/ΔΠΟΛΣ/81874/1986-25/04/2023 from the Minister of Environment and Energy.
The proposed investment involves the construction of a high-standard boutique hotel with independent tourist units in the form of bungalows, along with a sailing club and a maritime sports school. The target audience includes sailors, digital nomads, and various vacationers—global citizens with an environmental consciousness.
