This study involved the determination of the location for the construction of the new Municipality Building in Nafpaktos, through the inclusion of administrative functions at the specific site. In order to expedite the spatial planning of administrative uses, the approval of a Local Zoning Plan was proposed in accordance with Article 26 of Law 1337/83. A preliminary approval study had been submitted for this proposal, and according to decision no. ΥΠΕΝ/ΔΠΟΛΣ/39778/1030/26.11.2021 by the Deputy Minister of Environment, the possibility of spatially designating the Municipality Building had already been approved.
The building of the new Municipality Hall, according to the architectural program, will house the administrative services of the Municipality in office spaces, where it is estimated that approximately 200 employees will work in the future. The building will also include a multipurpose hall, the Mayor’s office, and other supporting service areas, with a total construction area of approximately 2,750 square meters (including future needs, excluding underground spaces).
